So recently I’ve been up to no good as per usual writing about my pet peeve of a story Kane and Amani (INTO THE ABYSS SERIES).
What’s interesting about this story is that a lot of people do not know that the characters were inspired by real life historical figure. For example, Amani is short for Amanirenas, which was an Egyptian queen. This was before Egypt had its new marketing plan, thus it was still known Nubia, or the Kush empire specifically in southern Egyt. In any case Amenirenas was a real thorn in the side of the Roman Empire, which was a long time before Cippio Africanus took over the continent and renamed Africa(allegedly), at this point the original name was still Alkebulan.
Another character was the one formally known as Idi Amin. It wouldn’t do him justice to describe him as the monster of his days, but I’ll do my best make his description brief. However, he was the former president of Uganda, known for carrying out some unspeakable acts during his reign. I’m sure you can see where I’m going with this, in any case my point is that his name and history made a great case for a good villain… Don’t you think?

Poetry is personal to me, because it is derived from my experiences. The good, bad and the ugly. All taken as fodder to formulate my CHAOS in a way, or in Layman’s terms the fuel to my creativity.
I must juxtapose against my insinuations that it is not organized by reference to chaos, for chaos it is, but organized chaos.
There are themes of chapters starting with love, heartbreak, pain and darkness or if you will, picture a black hole with me in it. However, I didn’t think rose could grow through concrete until these moments, which have aided the mastering of my art and level of expression through to who I am today. I say all this to say.
